Penn State Class

Last week after all the allegations regarding the Penn State Football Coaching staff, I was very dismayed with the message the media started to deliver regarding the pending gridiron battle between Penn State and Nebraska. Are we now Hooligans that cannot get together together to watch our teams together? Yes there is anger regarding the nature of the allegation, and yes it is a tough way to leave a program, but Nebraska and the Penn State fans had nothing to do with it.

I was happy to hear that after the media made remarks regarding what colors not to wear at Saturdays game...the Penn State Ambassadors made it clear that everyone from Nebraska was welcomed with opened arms. This is a class act and really shows the solidarity of what is good at Penn State. It will take Penn State...The Big Ten and all the programs in the NCAA regardless of division to heal from this mess. As isolated as we hope this was...no one wants to see this happen again...EVER.

Football did not build Penn State and frankly what the students and alumni did today is what built Penn State. We love our football, but we love the kids and the dedication they put forth.

Let's take care of our kids...they are our future and what happened is the fault of many...so...let's not have it happen again...EVER!
